met my first forum member today!

David Passmore came to my shop today with his 72 4WD Blazer. I hope I helped him. He was IMO very sharp, and has done a great job with the chassis on his Blazer. Look forward to seeing him again.

Thanks Chip for all your help. Great to meet another gear head with the passion. Man, you have some nice rides too! Hopefully, one day the "Blue Mule" can stand by your 2WD Blazer and shine. Still have a ways to go...

To all,
If you ever get into Jacksonville, FL and have transportation issues. Chips shop is the place to go, hardworking - honest automotive repair shop. I'm sure we will be doing business in the future.
Thanks David

I've followed it, seems she is getting good advice. Madison, FL is about two hours west of JAX. I'm sure if she contacted Chip and could get the truck to his shop, he could help.

Chip, It was the petronix. I installed a older Mallory Unilite distributor that I built eons ago. Ran like a champ, then I tighten the intake manifold bolts down and it ran better. Still not 100% satisfied but, making progress - taking the bugs out! ... Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, talk to ya soon.

Im curious what kind of trouble you were having with the Petronix. I have one of those in my 71 and every once in a while I get a little miss at speed (never just putting around town). The distributor is the only thing left I need to check more thoroughly.
