Rear leaf spring pieces.
1 Attachment(s)
I had to heat these up to get them out, the bolts were rusted solid in there. I don't know what they call them or anything, but can i get new ones? Napa couldn't find even the bushings.
I don't know if the metal got fatigued or not when i heated it up. |

Re: Rear leaf spring pieces.
Go to their website and select your vehicle. I typed in "leaf spring bushing" on my 71 K20 and got lots of hits.

Re: Rear leaf spring pieces.
I just replaced those in my truck. Classic parts of KC has them called spring eye bolt
and bushing. Part #74-084 for 69-72. Part# 74-083 for 67-68. Looks as though its not all out either. Had to put mine in the vise and heat it and knock the rest of that out with punch or (chisel) on one. Theres a gap where the bracket rolls together, thats where i ran the chisel down that slot. Good luck |

They have just re bushings or the whole thing?

Re: Rear leaf spring pieces.
These are the Bushing only that goes in the large hole in your bracket, that
bolts to that "spring hanger" mounted on the frame. I dont believe they reproduce a complete bracket. I pressed them in with my vise fairly easy. $12 or so apiece. Ive got the poly ones to go in the springs in on another thread. |
Re: Rear leaf spring pieces.
Is your truck a 2 wheel drive or 4 ? Back when I did my 67 I could not find them for a 2 wheel drive either but ended up installing new leaf springs and shackles.
