grey spiral shocks stock on a 67 swb leaf GMC?
 

would a 67 GMC swb leaf spring truck have come stock with the grey spiral shocks? i look on ebay and they make gm restoration parts for the cars. do they make them for the trucks as well or do i have to find NOS ones? also Does anyone have part #s of these so i have if i have to try to locate new ones? truck has RPO F51 frt & rear shock absorber on the spid. would that mean it had these? Rod.

Yes the shocks should of the spiral flavor. the car units are pretty easy to get compared to the ones for the truck. The 70 i just got has the original spirals still on it- they left them even after lowering it. I will look when I pull front to see if I can find a part # for you or at least a length to help in the search. H
