build sheet/towing capacity C10, 1967

Hello,

I got and 1967 C-10 coming on his way to Holland. For the Dutch authorities/road car inspectors I need an official GM document what says what is the towing capacity of my Fleetside 327cid C10 from 1967. Is there anybody who can help me with this. The car is arriving next week and I need this documentation in my possession the day I'll pick it up, because I want to let the truck check immediatly that day. I can get than an title with the maximum towing capacity, afterwards this is not possible anymore.

Is this information also to find on the buildsheet or manual?? does somebody has an picture from an 1967 c10 buildsheet with this information on it??

regards,

Berto

Can you use the VIN plate on the drivers door jam as proof of the Gross Vehicle Weight of the truck? It's stamped Chevrolet, about as official as you can get. Best of luck to you. BTW, nice looking truck your getting.

Heres a thread from several years ago. It has some charts from nov.1968. You might P.M. other members for clearer copies. Good luck.

I hope to have some official document on me, because i'm going directly from the custom handler towards the official check for the title. It's not possible to put towing capacity later on the title. If there is no official paper work what I can hand over then my title will not contain any towing capacity weight and for that I can not haul any trailer behind my truck.

thx for all replies till now.

You could always try the '67 restoration packet. It has payload capacities and GVWRs.
