pretty good day for ole blue
well my timing was off on my crate alittle so i went to my uncles house and we played with it and got it right after a few minutes and took it down the road and it will scream now:metal:, then me and my uncle was sitting there talking bout how i needed dual exhaust and other stuff, well come to find out he had a set of hedman headers sitting in his shop and he said here put these on your truck i dont need them, i tried my best paying him something but he wouldnt have none of it, so i got a set of headers free and my truck running right all in a few minutes, i just got to clean them and paint them and then save some bucks for flowmasters

I agree, my Pop can set one by ear better than any I have ever seen. Tune a carb too! I had one of the 350/290 GMPP motors and tried it at 14/16 fast and just never could get it right. Pop and one of his friends just put the 'old timer' tune on it and it was perfect. I think it might be some kind of magic or something.
Dad will be tuning my BB. :metal: Once you put the headers and larger exhaust (?) on it you might want to get him to listen to it again. There's probably another 5-10hp he can pull out of it. |
