Might be a goofy question, but what's the difference in an AM and AM/FM antenna? Guessing the plug on the end? Interested ..

In using the telescoping antennas on both kinds of radios, I could not find any difference in the reception. Typically an FM antenna is based on length, (nominally 30"). The connections are the same.

When I set my antenna at 30", there was no decernable difference.
