Nice set of outside handles from a 1970. No pits in chrome and they shine nice. Drivers side button does show some wear. Nice set for your driver. $65 shipped. Thanks, Sharpie. SOLD

Sharpie, take a look at some of my threads, might have something or things you'd be interested in trading for

Hi Pete, checked them out. Nothing I need right now, but I'll keep an eye on your threads. Thanks, Sharpie

Re: Clean outside handles.

All this BS about you must use the words "I'll take it" or you lose out,so now people throw it out to assure they get it yet have no commitment to the seller. Very selfish. And,it turns others away because "I'll take it" means the item is SOLD. It should work both ways. It should be a rule that once you say "I'll take it" you have to take it. If I say I'm interested and ask a question,if the answer or picture shows that it's what I want then I will take it. And,should be ahead of any other "I'll take its" that follow. Now,we see people say "I'll take it" and follow it with questions about the part and/or shipping.
Sorry for the hijackin' rant. But,Sharpie is a friend (at least I hope he feels the same...lol) and I figured he wouldn't mind. Good price on an important part in great shape (that I don't really need now). I'm headin' to the cellar before the storm hits

I couldn't agree more. I got burned on some tow hooks a few months ago where this very logic applied. I was the first guy to say that I was interested pending some pics. The next guy said I'll take it and I was brushed off. When I said WTF, this is the reason I was given: an 'I'll take it' trumps an 'I'm interested'. I don't agree with that. And I'm really disappointed when someone like Sharpie gets burned. He's a guy that I want on my side; I would never want to piss him off.
