'72 Cheyenne or Cheyenne Super on eBay?
I was thinking of buying this '72 C10 on eBay, but after doing some research here, I've come to the conclusion that it is a Cheyenne instead of a Cheyenne Super based on it's SPID.

Re: '72 Cheyenne or Cheyenne Super on eBay?
It is a Cheyenne (Z84). YE9 would be the code for Cheyenne Super. You can have Chipflyer make a new SPID for it and add super or whatever else you want.

Still have not decided whether or not to pull the trigger. I prefer to have everything bone stock, so for this truck the lowering, headers, wheels, and Super misinformation are probably going to nix the deal. |

The "Super" emblem placement on the passenger side fender is also an indication that is probably wasn't an original Super....

I think I understand what the "Super" package adds to the Cheyenne package.
Here are a few SPID from 71 and 72 Cheyenne Supers I found on CL. Looks like the gage package is not specified since it is already included in the YE9 Super package. http://i939.photobucket.com/albums/ad235/aspons/064.jpg http://i939.photobucket.com/albums/a...8b09f81131.jpg http://i939.photobucket.com/albums/a...8c70851b5a.jpg |
