As stated want to buy NICE original still plates, some folks call them
thresh hold plates or scuff plate's

Thanks for the tip, but i'm gonna hold out for some nice originals.
Can't stand the thought of taking scotchbrite to new one's to match the rest of
the period interior.

I would buy new "stainless" sill plates and scotchbrite them.
They will look good forever.
The oem version will rust.
They are just chrome plated steel.

I may have a set of rusty oem sill plates.

I know you prob dont want to hear it but really, the ones from Paul really impressed me. I'd seriously consider them before you paid big bucks for OEs. Just being stainless is 90% of my reasoning here. ..

I know why you want OEs, .. I know. Just sayin :D
