New Seat Cover and Door Cards

I think it turned out nicely. I'm thinking of doing a Maaco respray (don't judge me...) and putting cypress wood in the bed. Any comments or thoughts? This really is just a pat on the back thread.

And yes, the door cards are from 67-68 and this is a 70 SWB Steppie.

 How's this for a pat on the back?

It looks really good. I like the classic look of it, very clean and sharp.

RenoKene: That looks great. I wonder how it would do sitting in the sun?

The heartwood of cypress contains a natural preservative oil which makes it one of the most durable woods for use in exterior applications.

This is from a website I found...I'll post up a link for you.

Reno is right about the durability of cypress outdoors. Its first choice in wooden vintage windmills for that and the strength to weight ratio. Heres a pic of it used in this manner on one of mine. The dark rims (ribs) are redwood but that would be too soft for a truck bed. The cypress is harder but probably not as hard as pine.
