67 GMC Suspension and Disc Brakes

I have a 67 GMC ¾ ton 2WD. Dana 60 rearend, 8 lug wheels. I want to add disc brakes, lower the truck and make it handle much better. I would also like to convert to 6 or 5 lug wheels. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks David

I would look for a 71-72 half ton truck for the donor parts. You would gain disk brakes up front as well as convert to 5 lug at the same time
