Fuel tank sending unit question??????

Does anyone know if an "OE" sending unit like the one LMC sells fits the "poly" replacement tanks that they sell on ebay? I installed a "poly" tank in my `70 panel about 11 years ago. The gauge used to act up every once in a while, now it finally stopped working and the unit tests bad.

I converted to the poly tank about back in 2001 because some brave soul welded a plate on the bottom of the stock tank to try to fix a leak.
