Before I buy my 4/6 kit...
1 Attachment(s)
I have taken measurements of the current height of my truck. I measured from the floor to the bottom middle of each fender to come up with the height. My question is if I will have enough clearance and turning radius with my current wheels and tires. Thanks in advance.
Wheels/Tires: 255/55/17 L/H Front: 30 1/4in. R/H Front: 30 1/4in. L/H Rear: 30in R/H Rear: 29 3/4in. |

Re: Before I buy my 4/6 kit...
On my old blue 72 I had the 4/6 drop kit with a 235/70/15 tires which appears to be 28" diameter tire like what you have & I had no issues.

Re: Before I buy my 4/6 kit...
Thanks for the compliment. I have always been a fan of the lowered look with all my vehicles, and I can't take it anymore everytime I take the truck out for a drive and my father asks if I am going "4 Wheeling"...
Mind you all of his vehicles are lowered as well, so stock rides don't fly in our family :chevy: |

that 29-3/4 side. when you take off the u bolts check for a 1/4 inch block. i cant remember if mine had it or we added it to the other side to make it even on both sides. hope that made sense. :chevy:

Very nice looking truck! I think you will be OK in the back. You might have some rubbing up front when the suspension contracts like over speed bumps or other dips in the road. If your current suspension is older, it has compressed somewhat so you may not yield a 4/6 drop from it's current state.
