coys and backspacing issues

can you solve my backspacing questions im looking for rims for my 67 short fleet but im havin backspacing fears i have cpp spindles with 2.5 drop and 1.5 drop springs (4/6) big brake kit and the original 67 rearend adjustable trac bar i would like 20x10s out back and 8.5s up front and have the grinding issues been resolved with these rims or would that not be an issue for me having the cpp spindles i have aftermarket moser axles also so would i have to run a rear spacer or not

I assume you are talking about the C-5 wheels from Coys?

These would be my choice:
20x8.5 with a 5.25" BS.
20x10 with a 5" BS.

The problem,... is getting Coys to send you what you order.

Re: coys and backspacing issues

The rotor grinding is minor really. its just a matter of beveling the end near the dustcap. It is only an issue with the HD rotors. Could be solved by using a space on the centercap, but I chose not to go that route. Doesn't take but a few minutes.

If you go with 15's, be prepared to grind on your lower control arm, or have the tubular style, I went with them because they had them on sale, but damn it was a pain. Go with 17's or 20's. just my .02
