'69 454 3sp manual headers?
 

Ive got a friend looking for a set of headers to fit his '69 with a 454 but he left the 3 speed manual trans & needs to find a set to clear all the linkage. Anyone know what brand will fit this odd combo? Thank you!

I'm useing a set of 69 camaro black jack cheapys only cause i had them allready an they worked fine on the other car.
so far the biggest issuse i'm haveing is they exit rite at the (auto)crossmember.a custom one is currently being made. his truck probally still has the bell crossmember.
and my z bar/bellcrank is not level do too not haveing the engine side bracket for the ball stud everything else looks good take for granted my picks are still in mockup with the 454/4spd setup

Call Jegs and Summit. The listings for headers, as other parts, are usually very specific.

A 69 could have had a 402 in it, the headers would be the same, but the standard tranny throws a monkey wrench into the deal....I used to sell auto parts. Be careful, even if you find a set that says they WILL work w/ headers, make sure you find out about the return policy, IF you need to return them......

I wonder about some of those shorty headers, that are usually used for street rods. They make better shorty units, than in the old days, the primary tubes are a little longer. You may be able to look at a oisture of a set of shorty's and tell if they would work. The seller might even be able to take a picture of them, and send it to you if needed (if they're really interested in making a sale).......

I now know that dynomax 86110 will work the only clearance issue I had was on the passenger side the crossmember had to be clearanced a little. I am not using stock bbc mounts I made mine so my engine could be a little lower than most folks. These headers tuck very nicely behind the frame rail
