I'm peiceing together a rear stepside sport bumper setup and I'm not 100% sure if this is the correct set up.
it all bolted up fine and looks good but i just wanna be sure.

are stepside gravel sheilds differnt from steppers too fleetsides?
these sheilds seem too fit but i'm not sure if they are postioned the correct way because of the outer corner of the bracket is showing.

it all seems to look right even the rear sill seems too fit good.
I've never really got too check out rear stepside sport bumper setups too be sure this is right.

I really want/need a painted bumper i'm thinking i might strip this one.I just cant find a painted one anywhere except new ones.

thanks for any replys

OK its late for me but it looks like the shields are a different part number but the brackets are the same between a fleetside and a stepside. Here are clips for the Rear Bumper, Shields and Braces to ponder over. Remember these are service part numbers and production take-offs may differ.

thanks for the info tim & tim u 2 have some of the most expeiance/knowledge on these trucks and i apreciate the reply

but um a question still stands here are the leaf spring bumper brackets differnt from coil spring brackets?

these are from a leaf spring truck but they seem too work/look fine and from what i read on here they should be differnt so im not understanding what the differnce is. because i cant see the reason for anything too be differnt from the rear of the frame or the brackets

or am i over thinking this and all the 2wds are the same.
and the 4x4/blazer versions are differnt?

yes that is if a stepside sport bumper is "standard"

I really just need too know if leaf spring and coil spring bumper brackets are the same because I 'm useing 2wd leaf spring brackets on my 2wd coil spring truck and cant see/tell any differnce

from what i read on this board they should be two differnt brackets but i dont see it

nobody here has a stepside that could look under and say "thats how mine look"
