Swb rolling chasis, what to look for

Supposed to go look at a '72 swb rolling chassis today and was curious as to what to look for in terms of cut or bent frame points. Any and all input is appreciated. Also, what price range would you expect to pay for one? Thanks in advance.

Well, I know where there's a few around me in the 200-250 range if that helps. Can't tell you what to look for on bent places, but certainly be looking for rust, especially around the body mounting areas. I'm sure I'd also look for bent crossmembers and front and rear bumpers/attaching points. Just my .02

Cross measure to check if the frame is square (measure from the L. front to the R. rear, and from the R. front to the L. rear) Numbers should be the same or verrry close.

Check for rivets that might be loose, and for cracks by the steering box. Remember that 67's are different.
