In cab gas tank.
 

Gonna have to replace that sucka. Go back with a in cab tank (new or used), or go with the one that goes between the frame (where the spare tire sits)? Polymer or steel tank?

The trend seems to be the rear tank, but you could probably find a good used one for cheap and you wouldnt have to fill the hole in the cab and run a line to the back so you have to think what is important to you.

I have several in cab tanks if interested. One from a 68 GMC and 2 from 71 Chevys which have the EEC venting. All have working sending units and in nice condition. $50 choice plus shipping if interested. Not sure how to ship such an item. I moved my tank from the cab to under the bed and really like it there.

I moved my tank under the bed. I used the RCI aluminum tank from Summit. I am glad I went with this vs a poly tank due to warpage issues discussed on other posts. It gets very hot here in nor cal. I have pics posted here of some of the install.

Hey, I gotta a good in-cab tank (original) for a '71 if your interested. I live just north of austin, TX....
Its in quite good shape w/sender. Will let go cheap, but
definetly wont ship!!!
