Wtb steel wheels 8 lug c20
 

Looking for a set of 4 steel wheels (8 lug). Also looking for some hubcaps. Any help finding some would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
Thanks to a tip from this site found steel rims for my c20.
Got rims from mid 90's 3/4 ton econoline van at local yard.
There 16x7 and have the tabs to recieve chevy dog dish caps.
Painted mine white, put on new 265/75/16 tires, snapped on caps and they look great.
Only a purist would know there different because of valve stem location.

That's probably the direction i am going to go with. Everyone I have spoken with so far either has 16.5" wheels or lives too far away to even be worth the drive.

Can't you buy wheels from an auto recycler? Try looking up a commercial truck wheel business. I used to buy my 9.75 x 16.5s from a place called Standard Wheel & Rim Co. Places like that sell every size and shape wheels and this 8-lug pattern is universal across the board. Since those Ford 7" wheels are the last of that type used I'd think they could have been used on trailers and other industrial equipment.

The Accurides have the appearance of the original 6.5 x 16.5s with the convenience of being 16"

OK....got a set of 16" steels off of a 1986 military 4x4 pickup. Has a set of 265/75-16 tires that have about 50% tread. Now to look for some 73-87 3/4 ton hub caps and open the wallet for a new set of tread. Hup caps first.

I want to get the 73-87 style, chemical strip the paint off them and then have my buddy chrome them. Then paint the bowties red to match my truck. Will be getting the wheels painted gloss black.
