Engine and transmission or just transmission

I have the chance to buy a 1985 Monte Carlo SS 305HO and TH200-4R for next to nothing. Any thoughts on swapping both or just the transmission?

i'd swap both. 2004R is a nice addition.

make sure you get the brains with it when you pick it up. If that's not included, that may be why it is costing you next to nothing.
