to x pipe or nt to x pipe

Still trying to get the 70 to work to build the exhaust system. 3" rom the headers back for my 468. Should I put in a x pipe or not? I have never been a big fan of them but was thinking of trying one. Any thoughts?

Id run a X pip. with the power your making youll want duals. Im running tsp X pipe duals on my camaro and I Love it. Totally different than a Y pipe

h pipe will give you more horsepower and torqe , and mello even out your exhaust tone at idle

Very true, but an X pipe is even better. My Monte runs better and 60 fts. better with an X pipe then with the previous H it had (same mufflers). It even runs faster then open headers. I also like the change it makes in the tone. I have an X in my `70 panel also. My 67 Sub has an H still because exhaust was brand new when i bought the truck, but i`ll swap in an X if i do any major exhaust changes.
Clearance is the only draw back, but if you can fit an X i would recommend putting one.
