Steve McQueen's 1969 Baja 1000 racing truck

While Steve McQueen remains well-known for his exploits in a 1968 Mustang GT, the avid car-nut purchased this Chevrolet Baja 1000 racing truck back in 1970. It now heads to Mecum's Santa Monica auction.

Again, we did this last week or so ago.
There is a lot of bad information in the write ups you might want to read the other threads first before the C30 cab comes back to life yet again.

I always knew Steve McQueen as a big Motorcycle nut as much as or more than cars. There was a wave if TV/Movie Stars getting into off road racing,mostly,in the late-60s
