If I could have bought a brand new truck in 67... it would have been that exact truck.

Joe,... is that correct seat upholstery for a '67?
It looks like a '69-'70 seat.

Love this truck,... but I'd rather have your low miles swb truck.

The seat cover is incorrect. It is a 69-70 cover. I bought my low mile SWB from this guy. I looked this truck over while I was there.

Keith,
You're right. The seat cover is not the correct one for a 1967. Joe is correct. It is a seat cover for a 1969-1970. When the truck was restored, that was the only seat cover available. The correct one is still not available through LMC for 1967-1968. I have 1967 buddy bucket seats that I considered putting in it, but didn't since that isn't correct for this truck, either. I also purchased chrome bumpers for it before it was delivered to me. Once it arrived, I realized I didn't want to/shouldn't change a thing to this Beauty.

I would have put the incorrect buddy buckets in anyways since the correct cover isn't available for the bench. Very nice truck!

Here's a crazy question:

What sort of WAG "cost" (buy price for a decent original + hours and parts $'s) would you guess to build a truck similar to this?

cheers

Re: 67 short bed on eBay stock restoration

*IF* you started with a super clean truck (probably 8K for a really "clean" truck) then probably another 20K into it. However, depending on initial condition, the guy who built it or had it built may only have 10-15K into it (I doubt that though!) or he could have as much as 40 or 50K.

I was wondering if you could post some pic's of the 67 smog pump, parts and 67 only brackets. I have a thread going a while back but never had any responses. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=535555 . Would really appreciate it. if I could find some of these parts may try to put it on my 67 327. Rod.

Here are the last of them. I took them when I got pictures of the underside of the '67 for my Ebay listing. I should have them available shortly.
