For those with buckets and in cab gas tank...
do you do anything to cover the tank? I drove one the other day and it just looked odd with the sending unit staring at my elbow. I'm looking for ideas. I know if I have a flip seat/console it covers it when flipped up but there has to be something to keep it from showing when it's down.
Oddly enough I have plenty of legroom in the cab with the tank in there, plus it's new so I figured to save some money and leave it there. |
Re: For those with buckets and in cab gas tank...
They make a gas tank carpet kit that molded for the tank.. I can also get this for you if needed..

After Lee and Screem told me it existed I did see your truck in another thread. I just assumed (one of many problems I have) that it would have to be something custom.

The ACC 80/20 reproduction is just under $73 at Rock Auto.

Re: For those with buckets and in cab gas tank...
Quick question while we are on the topic if you don't mind. Would you say low back bucket seats offer more room than the stock bench seat or they bout the same? They seem to go back more

Even the cardboard cover used on a bench seat truck is better than nothing.
