PRICE REDUCTIONS / REVISIONS!! Let's get these things moved. Thanks

My address for PayPal is gearheadgalaxy2 at centurylink.net (Please replace the 'at' with @ and get rid of the spaces to use it!)

I have some spare parts that I want to sell as follows:

** SOLD ** Tailgate - pretty solid driver material . . . ** SOLD **

I have only one hub cap. It is in quite good condition - see the photo for diameter of inside - I only found one very small blemish and I tried to show it in one of the photos. $35 and the ride. Revised to $28 and the ride

Smaller Parts are as listed:

Ignition switch brand new was only plugged in and unplugged as found real problem for not starting  $15 and the ride. Revised to $15 shipping included

Horn small parts look complete to me - $15 and shipping. Revised to $15 shipping included

** SOLD ** AM Radio - SOLD!

C20 emblems - nice pair haven't started to flake off chrome and they shine right up. Have both mounting studs firmly attached. $30 and ride. Revised to $28 shipping included

'292' emblems - good condition, just need a quick spray of black paint and then rubbing compound to clean off the paint on the flat area to look new again. Both mounting studs good on these as well. $22.50 and shipping. Revised to $22 shipping included

Two radio adjusting 'dials' go behind the black knobs. $7.50 and ride. Revised to $7 shipping included

Old radio speaker - seen better days, but thought someone might want it for the bracket on the rear or even send it off to be re-coned and re-conditioned. $5 and shipping. Revised to FREE if you pay shipping

I accept PayPal and will combine shipping if possible when you buy more than one item. Send your mailing address with payment for shipments. If you purchase the tailgate and want to send it Greyhound I not only have to have your mailing address, but a contact phone number so they can call you when it arrives to come get it. They charge a daily fee ($3 - $5) for any days package stays there past three.

Thanks for reading through this essay - just thought I would answer some questions ahead of time for you. Jay

Tailgate - pretty solid driver material except for small areas shown in pictures, seems straight as seen in the photo with the straight edge - looks worse than it is because of series of small dents in the top edge - those dents would cover up with a chrome trim because that is what was on it before I took it off to inspect condition. Couple of places the spot welds are pulled and there are cracks around the release handle area, but bottom edge is good and solid. I'm thinking $135 and shipping - picking it up here in Columbia, MO is free! I have access to a Greyhound station, FedEx, UPS, USPS.

AM Radio with all attaching parts on the controls and the bolt for the bracket in the rear - cannot verify condition except that it 'clicks' when you turn it on and the station selector moves as it should when you turn the tuning dial. I used just a bit of chrome polish across the top of the dial face to show how it would clean up. $22.50 and shipping.

I shipped an am/fm in a flat rate box and it got destroyed. I would pay a little more to have it shipped in a bigger box.

Re: Spares for sale - small parts and tailgate

I'm ok with medium flat rate as long as there is plenty of padding. I just received one in a medium flat rate and it was fine. I think they are capable of destroying anything. Also, worst case the MFR comes with insurance and is two day shipping, so they only have two days to destroy it. Just use a ton of bubble wrap and maybe some extra cardboard to stiffen up.

Those parts are small enough for a padded bag from USPS I think. So, cost of parts $15 + cost of small padded bag + shipping + PayPal fees = How about $20 to cover everything? Let me know and thanks, I accept PayPal at this email address:

gearheadgalaxy2 at centurylink.net (just remove the 'at' and substitute @, then lose the extra spaces and that is my address.)

OK Muckmuck, that is what I will do - would have packed it that way anyway - just send the PayPal and I will get it coming your way. Jay

What price would work better? I'm not married to these parts, I just thought that sounded like a reasonable price to ask - but this wouldn't be the first time I was mistaken about something and most likely won't be the last.
So, make me an offer I can't refuse.
Thanks, Jay

I think I took them out of / off of a 1969 steering column with a trashed wheel if I remember correctly. Thanks, Jay
