Changed a few things, now its running rough

I changed 2 things on my truck, and now the motor is running kinda rough. I put a 4-hole 1" tall carb spacer between my Edelbrock 1406 carb and Performer intake, and swapped out the stock .095" secondary jets in the carb for a pair of .101" jets.

Now, the truck acts like it has a miss or is running kinda lean. If i rev the motor up i get a popping through the exhaust...like it just isn't firing evenly. At first i thought i had a vaccum leak, but i adjsuted the idle mixture super-lean and sprayed carb cleaner over the intake, carb, and all vaccum lines, but the idle speed stays the same. So, that rules out the vaccum leak.

All my plug wires are also fastened on...but i don't see why i would have a igniton miss when i only messed with the carb. Any ideas on what would cause this?

Also, how do i adjust the kickdown cable for my TH350? The carb spacer moved the carb and altered the kickdown adjustment. It now kicks down to 1st or 2nd gear too early and stays in each gear too long under part throttle.

Thanks for any help:bowtie:
