Someone took it apart at one time and added/painted the inside piece. Then added a aftermarket tach

That's not a tach. It's a vacuum gauge where the tach should be. looks like one from a 60's era GM car.

Should be a puckermeter rather than vacuum... ;)

I have a 71 door w/ an entry and half an exit wound. Still have the slug found in the bottom of the door with the mirror backing plates somewhere...
