New to the truck side

So I picked up this 72 c10. I've had my 72 blazer for a while and it was in need of a friend. What do you guys think? All original paint and the frame was all powder coated and rebuilt a few years ago. Has a clean rebuilt 350/350 combo with a rebuilt 12 bolt. Underside is spotless. Wood Bed which is pretty clean. I'll post some more pics later.

Very cool truck.
I also have a 72 chevy stepside.

Ya I'm out cruising it today. I'm going to be torn between it and the blazer for driving. Although I love topless in the summer.

Ya I feel for you guys on the east coast with the rust issues. I see some exceptional metal working skills on old Chevy's that would send most people running.
Here's some more pics.
I love the truck but I have to admit I like the fleet side better. I may have to get a fleet side bed for it in the future.
I think I got a good deal for 10k. It runs like a champ and has pretty good power.

Good looking truck man! Keep the sidestep though haha!

Whoever you got it from must not have put many miles on it after the rebuild, looks new.
I agree keep it a stepper :)

It was basically setting in the garage with little use. They were hurting for money and hadn't paid the tags since November. Cost me a couple hundred for the tags, but it's in my name and I couldn't be happier. The paint is really clean for original and I will be keeping the color if I ever decide to do a repaint. I have always liked the red/orange.

Looks like you found a few more wheelbase inches over a blazer! Nice truck!

Ya I was saying the same thing to my son. Even my Chevelle is longer than the blazer. I have big plans for upgrading the suspension. Any suggestions I want a good ride but still want to tow with it.

You indeed got 'a deal'!

Very nice truck! I would keep the step side, it looks great on that truck. Unless you get a fleet, rig up a quick change mounting system and you could have both!

Re: New to the truck side

The quick change is a good idea I might have to do that. I just need to find a bed which seems like it could be a challenge.
