Tilt Question

I bought a tilt from a chevy van for my GMC. My problem is when I have the tilt in almost fully tilted position the shaft feels like it pops or binds up. What part am I dealing with that needs replaced or repaired?

is it a OEM or aftermarket column, contact Kevsclassics on here he is the go to guy for refurbishing tilt colums
