Th350 Kickdown Cable Help
I could use a little help hooking up my kickdown cable. The cable that came with my TH350 was way too long so I bought the B&M universal cable. It turns out that the ends that hook up in the transmission are completely different. The other cable end was more like a wire that was fed through a hole on the transmission.
Unfortunately, I broke the little tab that the little wire went through on the transmission side, the one that bolts to the valve with the spring inside it so I can't reuse it. I didn't see a way to hook up this new cable to it anyway. This is the end on my new cable. https://scontent-a-lga.xx.fbcdn.net/...75&oe=54CA290D Anyway, does anyone know what I need to be able to hook up this new cable to the transmission? Thanks. |

You can get the correct kickdown cable at just about any auto parts store for about $20 bucks. I've never had much luck with generic, universal, one size fits all parts. Not sure what you broke... May need to take a trip to a trans shop to find a replacement part. |
