Just took the stock manifold s off for headers and thought i would look up well try to look the manifods up just for the hell of it, well 4hours later NOTHING the only thing i found was s post by a member of the chevelle site stating fhe same problem..casting number 3984040

Whats up with fhis? Rare millon dollar manifold! Doubtfull but hey who knows i doubt md and another person are missreading thw same exsact wromg numbers.

That's 3994040 which decodes to a car manifold. Non smog.

Im pretty certain its a 8 its shaped differently from the 9 and thethe now break or diffrence at all in the form of. 8 and i ran a marker across it and put a paper on it and sure looks lkke 398 to me amd it came off my 71 c30 with.402 bb

The 8 wouldn't have a clean curve on the right side of the digit. I see 399
