Well i didn't waste much time getting started, but the rebuild probably won't go as fast. Here is the end result of night one. I need to figure out how to get more than one photo uploaded.

Seats out. All in good shape except drivers seat. Floors look good!

Had. 496 with FAST Fuel injection all ready to drop in my C10 before the Blazer came up for sale. Now I have to decide if I want to put 600 ponies in the Blazer or build the 6.0 LQ4 for it. The guy who bought my truck may be interested in the 496 which would be good because this thing is gonna burn through the $$$. My first order of business is which way to go on the chassis. Can't decide if I just want to do the CPP chassis upgrade kit or put it on air or even coil overs.

Depends on what you want to do with the Blazer.

Good looking tub. Cool to see the rear top to bed brackets on a 70 DW. It seems like not all of them had brackets. If you can get a good pic of your SPID sheet, it'd be great to post here:

Looking forward to the progress. I'm a sucker for the original builds...so if the motor is original...that'd get my vote....but if it's a 350 and the date stamp is right (and you don't use it)...I think I know a guy who might take it off your hands ;)

A lot of progress made today. Probably not the recommended way to remove the body, but whatever works, right? Now off to the car wash for the frame for some de-greasing and then back in the garage for some more tear down.

Yeah, sorry about that, I think I will have it figured out by my next post.

Haven't done much new on it this week so far. Did get to the car wash and degrease the drivetrain and frame. Hopefully get a chance either this week or weekend to pull the engine and tranny. May have a deal going today to sell my 496 which I had planned to drop in there. Just feel like it is going to be too much for what I want to do with the Blazer. Probably going to beef up the 6.0 I have and put that in. Really been beating myself up on this decision. I have everything I need to put the BB in, including a FAST fuel injection system, but if this deal goes though, it's gonna go. Have been pricing the different coilover suspension options and I'm thinking that it's gonna be PBFAB.com front and rear. Not 100% on it yet, but getting pretty close to making the decision.
