Column shift to floor shift 1969 blazer question

My linkeage is all slopped out in my 69 blazer column shift so I ordered a B&M 80775 universal floor shifter for it. Does anybody know if there is additional hardware I will need to hook it up to the transmission?

Thanks
David

Wow!!
They're still making and selling those junk shifters.
Save your time!
Cheap overpriced junk. It won't last.
For a 100 bucks more you could get a real shifter that comes with everything to bolt it on.

THat was only an example of a better shifter.
Lokar has many that might work for you.

72chevyk10, other than being non-ratchet what don't you like about the lokar? is it too easy to slip from one gear to the next?

Re: Column shift to floor shift 1969 blazer question

the button on it is kind of a pain to press (especially in hot weather) it kind of jams up in spots and have to yank it, mostly just coming out of park though and its gotten alot better since i first put it in. but biggest dislike is if i put it in first for a "fun run" it is VERY easy to skip a gear, gone from 1st to 3rd and then 3rd to neutral cause i didnt know i skipped it. next shifter im going to try is the hurst racthet shifter with the 15in "truck" handle. think its the promatic or something like that.

oh and also had to get a seperate thing for the linkage to trigger the backup lights
