Pros/Cons of RND Radiator or Entropy 67-72?
 

Looking to buy a new aluminum radiator for my 72. Looking at buying one of these two mfg, any feedback positve or negative would be great from forum members using these products. My truck is a 383 stroker with estimated 500 horse with a 700r4 trans.

Both look like a top quality product. Personally I would go with Entropy because
*Lifetime warranty vs 1 year
*The lower hose connection on the Entropy is curved up like the original radiators making it MUCH easier to find and fit a lower radiator hose.

Ours are USA made and even though we offer a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects, over 7 years we have had 2 radiators that leaked, neither of which were due to manufacturing issues. Also, unlike Entropy, we don't use any epoxy / plastic / etc and everything is hand made and TIG welded. Many of the larger & less expensive radiator companies offer lifetime warranties as their stuff is either VERY cheaply made or made overseas, and they deal in huge volumes. Most of them don't care if they replace the radiator 3-5x. You won't have that issue with our radiators (you can also see feedback from our customers on this forum). You're mis-informed good sir, we DO NOT USE EPOXY/glue/sealers in any of our products, nor do we use cheap brazing furnaces

All Entropy radiators 100% hand-welded products in Chicago, IL and come with our LIFETIME warranty.

Interesting, as we had heard from several of your previous customers stating yours had either epoxy or glue and had leaked. Good to know though so I don't spread misinformation in the future.

Sounds like if your product is so good that you could afford to offer a longer warranty. I too am in the market for a radiator and a lifetime warranty is important to me.

I don't know anything about R&D, but, I have been running an Entorpy radiator for a little over 5 years in my daily driver, powered by a 383 stroker, 64 C10 pictured in my Icon. This is in Texas where temperatures reach 108 in the summer and I can run down the freeway at 70-75 with 3:73 gears and the Vintage air cranked up and never gets above 190. I Also will be using one in the 67 C10 that I am building. In addition, they stand by there product and are completely made in the USA. Also they are a piece of art.

Definitely no epoxy on my Entropy radiator! Can't vouch for it's performance just yet, but hope to soon.... From what I was told it should cool my 383 with A/C without a problem, and look good doing it "LOL".....
