JUST GOT THROUGH TEST FITTING MINE BEFORE PAINTING..THESE ARE THE STURDIEST BRACKETS I'VE EVER SEEN. YOU COULD ALMOST STAND ON THEM..THEY APPEAR TO BE PRETTY NICE. HOPE THEY WORK AS GOOD AS THEY LOOK

we sell and use them on everything we build and we have never had one fail, and what is real nice is they make them for almost everything from inline 6 - BBC

Actually, there is a big hole in their lineup. They don't make AC brackets for the later sixes like we use in these trucks. The 6 cyl brackets they offer are for the earlier 235 ci. type engines.

we just used a set of thier brackets for a later 6cyl for a sanden compressor and they worked fine, we never use A6 compressors any more

I'd like to see pics or at least get the part number for those brackets.

I have the 6 cylinder and the Sanden compressor already. I've been searching diligently for months now for the brackets. Alan Grove's website doesn't show them either. Alan Grove distributor told me they don't make them. What gives?

ok,
I got some more info on the brackets, the only reason the a/c bracket won't fit is because of the size of the HEI we see how the bracket could be modified to set the bracket up higher to clear the distributor but you are right, they don't make one that is a direct bolt on if it there is and HEI. I will be doing one in a few weeks on a 6 cylinder, and I will snap some pics of it
