CPP disc brakes?
 

Has anyone bought the full front and back disc brake kit from CPP? Looks like a good deal to me, at least better than buying separate parts from LMC. Looking to get the kit really soon.

I haven't worked with the entire kit before only the rear disk and it works as intended.
The rear parking brake is important so don't buy a kit that doesn't have that option.
If you are going with big wheels 20" or larger then CPP sells a "modular" drop spindle that brings in the wheel 3/4" on each side so that you won't have clearance issues with the fender and will also give you a little bit more lip on the wheel and who doesn't like more lip, I haven't heard of another brand that offers this feature.

I'm finishing that whole setup right now. Front went on seamlessly and quickly. Rears are a bit more time-consuming. Some threads in this forum discuss the issues on pad thickness and caliper mounting alignment. Not a big pain, but need to finesse them sometimes. While the overall quality is good for the dough, make sure the rotors don't have casting flashing in the cooling ribs. I had to punch out some of the flashing on the fronts. Good luck.

I bought the CPP rear disc brake kit and after I figured it out it's OK. I was hoping it would be very noticeable deference in the stopping of my 71 with 20" wheels but after finishing it, it's not much better than with the drums!
The kit was a pain to install also because they don't tell you you may not need the spacers for the calipers. I had to take everything back off the passenger side. I called there help line several times. The rear brake hose they send want fit the tee at the rear end either. Adjusting the rear brakes is a real joy!

I'm going to bump this.

I have their big brake kit at each corner. Went in smooth but I still need to shim the passenger side like Andy mentioned.
The truck stops awesome. Takes a lot of pedal pressure though, almost like they are manual but not :/ I also have the booster that came with the "kit".

what I'm fighting now, with just over 900 miles on them, is the constant squeaking/squealing from what sounds like more than one corner. LOUD, like I can drown out a metro bus or semi truck. The warmer the brakes get, the louder they are. It has done this from day one probably. Also, the brake dust is crazy. @ 900 miles it's the most dust I've ever seen
