Plating Question on carb spacer and others
 

I'm doing a bunch of replating on many items so I'm calling out for help. I'm looking for info on what GM plated the 4bl carb spacer with. Any help would be great. Thanks, Tom

so would that be Silver Cadmium?

Not exactly sure which one but I know that the cadmium can be given a different tint. The cadmium plating is silver like and then it can have a yellow chromate applied to give it a yellow effect as whlell as provide better corrosion protection. Are you doing your own plating?

I'm sending all the plating out. I plan to replate 15 of these spacers. I do plan to do the grey phosphate on my own though. I'm currently trying to find a source for the solution. Thanks, Tom
