REPO1 09-23-2003 12:00 AM

WANTED: Rear coil spring retainers.

I am in need of the little retainers that bolt inside the rear coil springs to keep them in place. Mine are pretty rusty, so a nicer set is in order.

Someone must have these laying around.

I would like to pay with PAYPAL.

Thanks!

LMC has them too. I just got a set from them, along with the bolts, nuts, and washers. They call the piece you are looked for 'cups'. $3.99 each. The ones they sent me appear to be just as thick as the originals.

Good luck getting the 'square' nuts broken loose...mine are a total pain.....so I have decided to whack them off and replace the whole mounting setup.

Do you have a link to them?

$3.99 is cheaper than $10. :)

REPO!,

You will need to order a catalog from them. It gives you the part numbers you will need for online ordering. Just the catalog itself is a cool thing to have as it is full of exploded diagrams denoting the parts.

Here is the link:

Don't bet on the price still being $4. These are still NOS items, but the supply is dwindling. I bought some new ones recently and learned this. Check with the dealers, it will be better to call or e-mail before you order to confirm the price.:bowtie:

Also, the replacements do not have the nut welded on them, but a grade 8 nut isn't that expensive.

You can go to www.lmctruck.com and place an order over the web now. It will ask for the catalog # you are ordering from and the part #.

If you want to order here is the #'s from my catalog.

catalog - CB.30
coil spring clamp (3.95) - 34-1511
