Seems water, degreaser, a brush and blow dryer are the ticket, but I thought to ask before I do something I shouldn't. Thanks. |

Re: How to clean exterior Evaporator Core
GM has a really great evaporator dip cleaner we used for problem cars that was not only a cleaner but a anti-growth protective coating as well. Try you local dealer for more current information and what it would cost you.

What's the best method of cleaning this? Trying to overhaul the A.C system and replace the heater core.

Re: How to clean exterior Evaporator Core
I've never really worked on an a.c. system before. It hasn't been hooked up since before I bought the truck. They even bypassed the heater core. I sure hope it's not a leak. All of your input is greatly appreciated.
