What type of oil?

I have an oil filled fuel pressure gauge that leaked out some of the oil.
I was wondering what type of oil is used for these gauges? The brand name is Spectre, but I don't think that makes a difference.
The oil itself is clear and pretty much odorless. Is it mineral oil of some kind?
Anyone out there have an answer?

Well I figured it out.
They put Glycerin oil in these gauges.

glycerine oil is or was available at drug stores, buy too much of it and you'll end up on the no fly list.

It's used for tanning hides. Just tell 'em your name is "Skinner" if they ask for your info.
