Hey guys, new guy from Colorado. Been lurking for awhile. Picked up a 79 in November. Just got new shoes and a bit of an altitude adjustment.

Welcome. She's a beaut. What's it got under the hood.

Thank you, Stock 350 for now, this is the engine I bought to go into it. But, just decided to change it up a little. It's a 4bolt bored .040 over and was a good engine but I'm having some vortec heads being done and a bigger cam coming. Should be in the neighborhood of 400hp

That motor is sweet. I saw a Post on the web the said a drug habit would have been cheaper. I know what that means now. Lol!!! I'm lookin for a lsx or vortec big block.

I think you're right, this started out being a lil' work truck and has quickly gotten real expensive. Looking back on it, I would've been better if throwing a cheap ls in it.

I'm just S/E of Parker, almost Elizabeth. Do you make it out to the Golden cruise ever? Been thinking about getting a group of squares together.

I've never gone to it, sounds like fun though.
