1950 Brake Line Routing with upgraded suspension???
When I received my 50 it has the Heidts front and 4 link rear installed but no brakes or lines. I just finished installing 4 wheel disk brakes but I am looking for ideas and pictures on how you all routed your brake lines. I am keeping my booster under the floor.
I think I have figured out a way to just poke the rear lines through my chassis then go to hard lines up the rail. My issue is figuring out the best place to position the front hard line to soft line mounts. I would love to see pictures or hear ideas on how you routed your lines. This is the stage I am at with my chassis currently and the body is hopefully ready for us to paint next week. http://505hp.com/wp-content/uploads/...3-1024x576.jpg http://505hp.com/wp-content/uploads/...9-1024x768.jpg http://505hp.com/wp-content/uploads/...1-1024x576.jpg http://505hp.com/wp-content/uploads/...6-1024x576.jpg |

Don't have pics showing the whole system, but this shows the lines at the MC. The two lines going forward, were attached to frame, one to drivers side, the other I ran the line on the backside of the MII crossmember to the passenger side. Both then were tied to the flexible line...Jim
