Intellitronix Gauge Issues

1 Attachment(s)
We purchased these gauges back in December to go with our 5.3L LS engine and we hooked them up. Once hooked them up, the speedometer constantly blinks in and out and the voltage shows 7 or less. We went back and forth emailing with the company to try and resolve the issue. Two weeks ago we sent them back in, "fixed the issue" and they mailed them back, yet the issues still persists. Any suggestions on what we might be doing wrong? We are about to the point of mailing them back and going with something else

They suck. Suck Suck Suck. Good product, bad service. Mine had other issues that they could NOT fix, I ended up googling my issue and it was a simple resistor that had to be added between some wiring. I cannot recommend their product to anyone. I bought it on ebay and at the end I gave the seller a bad review (the first negative review I ever gave anyone and I am a member since 1999 IIRC) and guess what the tech guy told me? "You will need to retract your negative review", lol, yeah right. .|., lol

Is there another alternative you guys would recommend for digital gauges?

Im not much on digital gauges and only bought them as a cheap alternative until I could afford what I wanted but if thats truly the look you want then Dakota Digital is the only real game in town with quality parts and service.

I bought some the speedometer wouldn't stay calibrated sent them in they sent them back same issue. I called themAnd was told to send them back I asked for a return label I fought with them and finally they sent me a new set of gauges and just told me to keep my old ones still have the same issue so it's probably not the gauges they are hooked up just like there instructions call for and probably would work if there tech line one guy was more competent and willing to provide tech support instead of wanting to get me off the phone in 20 sec. He could have saved the company money and had a happy customer.

Just curious what transmission do you have is it a 4l60? Out is it a older mechanical one did you use there adaptor? I have a 700r4 and they told me how to hook it up without the adapter they supply so I am thinking that may be my issue and am thinking that may be my problem. Call them and complain they'll exchange your gauges but in the mean time make sure your ground and his are good and that one isn't slightly loose.

It is a 4l60, it came out of an 01 Yukon. We hooked the speedometer to the speedo wire that came out of the computer.

yep I went through the same. Told the whole story in the video I posted the link to.Took me over 2 months of constant calls and emails to get my replacement and the speedometer went out about 100 miles after I installed the replacements. Done with this company.

My clock has not worked since a week after the install. I upgraded to GPS so the I don't have any issues with the speedometer.

"Throw them straight into the trash" That's how you "install" these gauges and never have any problems with them!
