radiator choice?
 

I have a 69 c-10 with stock 454 with header's. After 2 very hot month's here in southeast n.c. I am going to spring for a new rad.I want to use the fan and shroud I have.Question--- Griffin 3 core,or champion 4 core,any advice would be appreciated. THANK'S RON

Ive had this one saved in my list for a while now. Not ready to pull the trigger yet, and i know you usually get what you pay for. Can't decide what to do.

There's a place in Chicago that builds some really nice ones. I bought one for my camaro after having cooling issues. Now she runs 160 170 all day long. The place is called Engineering cooling products if I remember. They had the best price around and it's made in the USA. I've looked and they do make some for our years of trucks. They have the big core tubes for great cooling. I'm going to buy another one from them for my 72 k10 when I get to that point. They are a aluminum radiator.

There are vendors on the site that make radiators for our trucks, I want to get one of those later or get my original recored.

I bought a KKS radiator (not US made, sorry) after a forum member really bragged on his. I haven't put it in yet but hope to in the coming weeks.

Had mine re-manufactured. He uses and industrial forklift core with a thicker than stock material in brass and copper.

There is an definitive advantage to using brass and copper.
