Where to buy correct maroon/dark red dash pad for 69 C10 CST?
 

We are working on a 69 C10 CST with the dark red/maroon interior. I can not find a dash pad for it. The Counterparts ones are bright red and the Dashes Direct ones repackaged by OER sold under part number 3968210 are on back order.

Anyone have a recommendation where I might find one? Thanks

Don't ask me why but that color survives better than any I have ever had. My 69 has one that is quite good but lifting at the edges a little and I have another stashed somewhere that is even better. Don't ask me where it is It would take me a week to find it LOL.

I think your odds of finding a good usable original are pretty good.

That maroon was a one year only color and isn't reproduced. Finding a good original or painting a new one would be your only options.

Classic industries sells them-but they are OER-they may have in stock

OER is out of stock, Classic Industries, Summit, Jegs are out of stock and back ordered. I was hoping someone would stock them and not just drop ship from Dashes Direct.

Have you checked Brothers truck parts?
They were the only one that sold a Sandlewood dash pad years ago.

Thanks for the recommendation. Looks like they still offer the sandalwood but do not offer the dark red/maroon. It's looking like maybe I carefully remove the old one and have it recovered.

Not sure why Sandalwood isn't a common reproduced color. It was used in a few years. '69 has a couple tough interior colors
