Bleeding brakes
1 Attachment(s)
Hi all need help bleeding brakes on my GMC C2500 im having trouble opening the bleeder I cant reach it with a normal open end 3/8 wrench. Its a tight fit behind the spindle and the brake line coming in. Would I need a line wrench to crack open the bleeder?

Re: Bleeding brakes
What is circled in the picture is not the bleeder. Not sure what is going on there.
Break the bleeder open with a socket and replace it with a longer bleeder. It will make your life so much easier. |

Re: Bleeding brakes
Here is a thread about the bleeder screws - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=769982
In it I said 'Dorman 484200' is what I used for longer screws. |
Re: Bleeding brakes
I decided to just bite the bullet and buy a set of offset wrenches. It made the job really easy. These are the ones I got - a little pricey but worth it to me:
