Brake Lines

I was looking on LMC as I'm going to order new pre-bent brake lines for my 2wd shortbox. Problem is I don't know what year the frame is as its not original to the truck and LMC has a different part # for pretty much every year. Its a 5 bolt truck but I'm almost positive it had been changed over, so not a 71 or 72. Does it really matter what year I order it for?

Re: Brake Lines

The main differences in plumbing relate to drum or disk brakes on front and power boost or not....

Boosted or not also makes a difference to rears....

Is the front suspension have the brake lines in front of the cross member or behind the cross member?

Drum original is behind
Disk original is in front

Boosted systems use a BIAS valve ...post a pic of the master cylinder and pipes and the front brake system....that will point us in right direction...

The rear is different from coils to leaf springs too.
