1968 C20 wheel / hubcap question
1 Attachment(s)
I’m trying to figure out what rims my truck came with as I’d like to replace the current HD2500 forged wheels. My SPID calls out PO3 chromed caps and S89 16.5 x 8.25 spare.
1- Is it safe to assume the other 4 rims would be same as spare? 2- Would the rim have been clincher or split? 3- Would caps be clip type or nub? Thanks in advance, Joe |

I’m not an expert, but I believe in 68 the caps were clip type. Can’t help you with the rest, sorry.

Re: 1968 C20 wheel / hubcap question
Yes, those are the caps that were with my truck when advertised. However, when I flew to Michigan to get truck I was on a high and forgot about them until 3 hours into our return trip to NJ. I called the guy and he said he would ship them, never did. Words cannot express how pissed I still am at myself 3 years later for not going back to get them.
I see you have 16” wheels, would 16.5” also use same caps? Quote:
