Front center drag link clearance question

Hello. So how close to the front crossmember is the front center drag-link? Mine seems to be almost touching, if not touching. I have replaced the pitman arm and idler arm to new but not the tie rods. I had the steering box rebuilt and it is installed and the truck turns and feels ok with my tests in the garage, I have not had it out on the road yet...others things not ready. I am just concerned its really too close and will rub or scrape.

1969 Chevy c-10 2WD with Power Steering.

Thank you in advance for any replies.

Thank you for that. Another person said to check the torque on all the other components and re check. I will do that and see if I get close to your 1/4 inch setting. You would not happen to know the torque settings on all the steering components that could affect this distance? Tie rod ends.....pitman and idlers arms. stuff like that

Same here, about 1/4" away from the crossmember. Installing the drag link when i rebuilt my front end i had to have the wheels turned to the right to install.
