Carpet - Back Cab Wall Install??
Working to re-do the interior (72 K10), but need tips on installing the carpet on the back wall of the cab. Moved the tank from inside to under the bed, now need to cover the back wall.
I bought the backwall kit from ACC, so the carpet is already molded to fit. Any tips on getting this to stay in place? Just use spray adhesive and glue it to the Kilmat stuff? Will that hold it in place over a long period of time in the hot Texas heat? I searched the forum and on YouTube and could not find much help on this topic. |

Thanks John, I hadn’t thought about trying contact cement. Was just thinking spray adhesive, but the other sounds better.

It has been suggested by a couple of people on here to use vinyl top adhesive for a better bond. I think you can get it in a quart can or spray can. LockDoc |
